About me
I am a software engineer on Nordstrom’s data streaming platform. Over the past few years, I have been working on Nordstrom’s centralized analytics platform, designing and building data pipelines that enable data scientists, engineers, and analysts. Recently, I transitioned to Nordstrom’s data streaming platform to assist in migrating from Nordstrom’s Kafka platform to Confluent Cloud. I was an early adopter and contributor to Uber Cadence. Before joining Nordstrom, I helped launch a startup that utilized Cadence as the backbone for many of its backend services, powering everything from customer orders and payment processing to data collection for building executive dashboards. When I’m not programming and learning, I spend my time at the boxing gym, drawing, listening to music, and wandering aimlessly around Seattle.
